Graph of f(x)=((x-2)^4) - 1
As in example from the manual book, we need to draw a graph of f(x) = (x-2)4 - 1. Below, is the graph.
Discussion:
y-intercept = (0,15)
x-intercept = (1,0) and (3,0)
Relative minimum: (2,-1).
Inflection point = None because there is no point at where the function change the behavior from concave upward to downward or vice versa.
Increasing interval: (2,3) and (3,∞)
Decreasing interval: (-∞,1) and (1,2)
Concave upward: (-∞,1), (1,2), (2,3) and (3,∞)
Concave Downward: None
